India Organic Seminar on "Global Organic Agribusiness: India Arrives"
In fast emerging organic sector worldwide, the know-how on organic agriculture is constantly upgrading and growing. Research related to organic agriculture, especially in the EU and USA is cutting edge. There are various reasons, including lack of transfer of technology and institutional support that is impeding growth of organic sector in the 'third world'. It is therefore very essential to provide sufficient knowledge and skills to address the challenges and problems in organic sector. Interaction amongst agricultural experts, administrators / policy makers, advisor and farmers is an emergent need in India and even entire Asia.
ICCOA is organizing the 4 India Organic Seminars following the success of three previous editions since 2005. The India Organic Seminar will be organized in cooperation with International and National Organizations and will be held in NASC Complex on 27, 28 and 29 November 2008.
